Swift ABS/Handbreak indicator light always ON

Hi,

I own an Swift VXI/ABS. Recently the ABS and Handbreak indicator lights up after driving for a while. Sometimes it never happens. I had shown this to a Maruti Service station, they are saying that ABS has to replaced, and I have to pay around 40K? I don't use my car often, its 2 yrs old and run only 8000 KM. Please advise what to do. Should I show this to a different Maruti Service Station?

Please help.
