CGY750 3-Axis Gyro & Governor

“Hey Guys! Here is a video a friend took, from the flightline, at OHB last weekend. This is the Raptor G4 E720, Futaba CGY750-with the new 1.3 update, Scorpion 4525-520, Scorpion 5000mAh 12s packs, and Vblade’s 715s.

I didn’t post much yet
on the new Futaba 1.3 CGY750 update (as I’ve been fairly busy, my mistake, and I intend to post more details and set-up tips soon), but a few key points that I’d like to point out that are even possible to see in the video that really make this update stand out are:
- Cyclic stops and response are crisp, and very fluid. It is confidence building when flying low as the feel is extremely linear and consistent no matter what speed the heli is travelling. 1/4 stick rate is the same at any motion/angle. You’ll notice there is 0 bounce unlike the previous version.
- Autoration and ground handling is superior to anything I’ve ever flown. You can really get it in funky angles in autos and it won’t bite into the auto like with the previous version.
- Setup is no longer based off swash AFR, so you set a total amount of cyclic pitch for all models, and simply set your control rates you would like with dual rates. This is great because now the cyclic rate is independant from how much cyclic pitch the gyro can use to compensate for disturbances. So rates in general are very consistent, rolls are extremely axial and consistent, and wind handling is much better.
-Any collective pitch>Aileron/Elevator interactions have been eliminated. So now, “banging” the collective around is no problem Your helicopters nose will not change angle during inputs. “
